The Buchan Hotel has a limited number of parking spaces (4 in total) that are available for guests on a first-come first-served basis. There is a charge of $10+ taxes per night for such parking. Other parking options include limited free street parking and several pay parking lots within walking distance.
Free Street ParkingFree street parking can be found throughout the neighborhood, including directly across the street from The Buchan Hotel. All free street parking is marked with "2 hr" or "P" symbols surrounded by a green circle and are available for 2 hour increments during daytime hours (9am to 8pm). The 2 hour limit is not enforced between 8pm and 9am, allowing guests to legally park from 6pm in the evening until 11am in the morning.
Caution: Parking is not permitted in the "Permit Parking Only" areas. Parking is only permitted between signs displaying "2hr" and "P" within a green circle.
Coast Plaza Hotel Pay ParkingEntrance to the underground Coast Plaza Hotel lot is on Comox Street. This is a secured parking lot with an attendant providing tickets upon arrival and accepting payments upon departure. The lot charges $3.50 per hour, $10 per evening (6pm to 6am), and $13 per day (6am to 6pm). For 24-hour in and out privileges, guests are required to purchase a $23 ticket in advance. No over-height vehicles are allowed (minivans are ok). | |
