How do I reserve a room online?
You can reserve a room online on the reservations page. There are no additional fees for booking your room online.

Will my online reservation be secure?
Yes, our site is a Network Solutions Secure Site and all transactions are completed on a secure server, which encrypts credit card information, protecting against unauthorized use. Security is of utmost importance to The Buchan Hotel. The Buchan Hotel will never disclose credit card or other personal information with other parties.

Can I cancel or change a reservation once it has been made?
Yes, you can change or cancel your reservation once it has been made. To change or cancel your reservation online, please use our change or cancellation form. You can also give us a call at 1.800.668.6654.

Where is The Buchan Hotel located?
The Buchan Hotel is located in the West End of downtown Vancouver. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, the Buchan is 1 block from Stanley Park and 3 blocks from the beach.

What time is check in/check out?
Check-in time is after 3:00 PM.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Can I request an early check-in or late checkout with the hotel?
We will try to accommodate any early check-ins or late check-outs. Please give us a call prior to your arrival at 1.800.668.6654 to make the necessary arrangements.

Can I bring my pet with me to the hotel?
No, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate pets at The Buchan Hotel.

Do you have cots available?
Yes, we do have cots available. Should you require a cot please notify us at the time of your reservation.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
No, unfortunately The Buchan Hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

Is there parking available at the hotel?
Yes, a limited number of parking spaces (6 in total) are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $10 + applicable taxes per night. Parking cannot be reserved in advance. Other parking options include limited free street parking and several pay parking lots within walking distance. See our map of parking options in the area.

You can reserve a room online on the reservations page. There are no additional fees for booking your room online.

Is your reservation process secure?

Can I reserve more than one room at a time when I book online?
No, you are not able to reserve more than one room at a time. If you would like to reserve more than one room, please reserve each room separately.

Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?
Yes, a confirmation of your reservation will be emailed to you immediately after you have completed the online reservation process. If you did not receive a confirmation email or have any further questions please contact us at 1.800.668.6654.

Payment

Will I be charged for extra guests occupying my room?
There is no extra charge for the first 2 adults, or for children under the age of 16. For each additional adult a fee will be applied for a maximum of 4 adults per room (see our room rates for our latest rates).

What taxes and/or additional charges apply?
All room charges are subject to a 15% Tax, including a government mandated destination marketing fee.

Is a deposit required to guarantee my reservation and when will my credit card be charged?
No, a deposit is not required to guarantee your reservation. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation and all room charges are settled upon check-out.

Change / Cancel Reservation

What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival. If a reservation is not cancelled a 1 night charge will be applied to your credit card.
